Our Vision:

We see in the population around us the opportunity to share the gospel with fresh clarity – getting back to the substance of God’s grace in Christ Jesus. We want to speak the gospel clearly to those who know little or nothing of it, and we want to live it out together faithfully.

We believe that everything we do should begin and end with the grace of Christ as the full expression of God’s love for us. While this orienting commitment is always appropriate, it is especially important in a context in which the gospel may so easily be misunderstood. We seek to do this through:

Connecting Relationally

Strong relationships have been a strength of Two Rivers and we seek to deepen our relationships, within the congregation as well as without, both informally and intentionally.

Training and Equipping

The importance of training for all of the Christian life cannot be overstated, and a more intentional process is our focus. We seek to train our people in a variety of ways through Christian education and equipping our teachers and ministry leaders.

Partnerships

We see our various ministry partnerships as key for our ability to achieve our mission. We seek to strengthen and grow in a number of ways, through:

  • Church partnerships within the Park Circle area

  • Engaging with missionaries, both local (RUF at College of Charleston) and oversees

  • Serving with FED UP (For Every Deserving and Underprivileged Person) —

a wonderful and sustainable ministry to those in need
